June 22 Does anyone check this any more?I haven't check this website in over 6 months and I guess no one else has also. So what's the point of having it? December 17 New space hard to findMicrosoft have finally changed their website format but in doing so have made it harder to get to your space to blog or update it.
 Also now you can't see if someone commented on your space like before when you logged in to check your email.  Major Fail I think. Christmas is now only just over 1 week away. Once again I have nothing for my wife.
 I really want to get her something nice but she always she doesn't want anything. One extra good thing about Christmas is the extended shopping hours. Yay Sunday trading.  We can actually go to a real store not just IGA. But soon it will be back to no stores open.I decided to take holidays this year so get 11 days off starting Christmas day and finishing the Sunday after New Years. Good for me the long break will be nice.
 I have also just had a few days off due to both ears having infections. Only get about 20% of all that's said but today I feel a little better even if the ears are still ringing. Sick of being sick.  Merry Christmas and Happy new year. November 17 Walking talking basketball and lifeLast week some new things started. My wife started work. Only 1 and a half hours bus drive away. It's not good the early morning especially being daylight savings. But she seems happy to have a job.
 Last week we also started our paper round. The area is huge. We will be very fit doing that every week. Good exercise but not much pay.On Saturday went to basketball to find out my friend I have played basketball with for the last 7-8 years has a heart condition and really shouldn't have even played on the weekend. He has been the only player I've played on the same team with through all that time and it was a little scary to hear about his condition. I also feel it is the end of an era. But most of all I hope he is ok and can live a good long life.
Till next time take care... November 10 Not blog much any more...Today is almost 2 months since my last blog. Ever since I started playing Myspace games (Marfia Wars, Vampires and more recently World domination) I haven't been doing much else. Works been busy as usual this time of the year. But it will slow down soon. Almost Christmas time.  Basketball only has a couple of more weeks left. Not that I played much this year. Seams every second week I didn't play. Last night had a great dinner at a friends house but felt a little guilty not helping clean up. Other then that lots happening but nothing really going on.September 12 Car Accidnet, Basketball, and FlowersLast weekend was a big one. I had Monday off and it was packed. Friday night we stoped at my Mum's for dinner. Saturday I played basketball. We won easy and although I played ok I didn't score. Missed everything.
 About 0 of 10.  I can't remember the last game I played in I didn't score in.  Following basketball we headed down to vote in the state election. We still don't know who won more then a week later.  Sunday we got up and went to Aralue Park in the hills out of Perth. This was not our day. After driving 30 mins and realising the directions from the internet were wrong we turned back. 1 hour driving we found it. Not that it wasn't nice but I won't be hurring back.
  The place despite 10 million miles from anything was packed for Fathers day. After about 1-2 hours there we decided to head home to eat. But on the way home some car in front of us stopped suddenly. We stopped in time but the car behind us didn't. <CRASH> Everyone was ok but we were hungry and pissed because we had plans and now they look less like happening.  After pulling the rear bumper back on we were off. Now adding a police report to our things to do list.After lunch we headed to the police station only to find only a few are open on the weekend. We found one in Northbridge. After that we headed to Kings Park but didn't stop and it was Fathers day and the people who weren't at Aralue Park where there.
  So we went to Northbridge to get some food and when home.Monday we got up and headed back to Kings park. Good this time not many people there. All in all and exciting weekend wonder what is in store this weekend.  August 31 One day at a time.This weekend we (Wen and I) went to my friends wedding. It was a good day. Good food which I ate too much. All in all a good day. See the photos to get an idea. We also took video so that could be interesting to see what shows up. We left about 9:30pm which wasn't bad givein it takes 5 mins to get home from the reception. We were very lucky to get invited as I see we were 2 of the 3 friends my friend invited and his wife invited 3 of her friends. That of cause didn't include the best man and maid of honour. The rest were family. So if it wasn't said. Thank you kindly for the invite Nigel. We really enjoyed it. Congradulations and all the best in your and your wifes future.
After the wedding we watched a couple of movies (one we only finished today). One was a chinese movie about a dog becoming a man and a man becomming a dog. Was better then it sounds. Then we watch the pusute of happiness. Really makes you appreciate all you have. Hope the message didn't get to lost in all the hollywood messing about.
August 06 Computer malfunction, Basketball, Birthdays and much more...What a weekend. Friday night our computer died after I tried to save it.
Before the above I went to play basketball on Saturday and we beat a good team.
After basketball that night we went to our Mum’s for Wen’s birthday dinner. It was good as always. But Mum didn’t make cake for her. A birthday with no cake?
Monday was Wen’s Birthday. July 27 First Game BackToday I played my first game of Basketball in more then 2 months. After I got the fever I wasn't able to play the rest of last season. Today to say the least I was a bit rusty.
I may have got my first rebound in a few seconds but helped 2 seconds later with my first pass being a turnover. I did get a bit better but didn't score in the first half but rebounded and passed well.We had a few incidents in the first half with an umpire and played the second half on another court and with a different umpire. To say the least you can look at the different scores to tell the difference that made. At half time we were losing 26 to 23. Then at the end of the game won 53 to 71. I did score in the second half only one shot and a free throw as I didn't shoot well but was glad I was still able to rebound and pass most of the time. I was also happy I didn't feel too bad after the game. I wasn't sore or short of breath so that gives me more confidence to play a little harder next week. It was good to be back out on the court again.

RJ :) July 07 Our first wedding anniversary -我爱你老婆Today is my first wedding anniversary.
 It has been a great year since that faith full day we wed. We had a busy day getting all that we could done before I have to work again. Today we got hair cuts. See photo on this site. Also Ma gave us a gift of wood. She thought it was our 5 anniversary I think. Tomorrow I have to work late.
 But have taken another day off on Friday while Wen is on Holidays from Class. Last Friday was 9 Years in Local Government so next year I get my long service leave. Saturday we had lunch with the 2 Hong Kong girls in my office. I think I said too much. I need to learn when to shut up and just listen. But dim sim was good. Sunday was a trip to Mum's for Robs birthday lunch. Wasn't really great. Food was ok but could have done with out the kids playing ball over the table. I hope our kids learn manners and not to do that.
 Just for my loving and caring wife on this day of days. 我好好好爱你老婆。你是我为一。     June 27 NBA Draft DayToday is the Draft day for the NBA. Players who would like to play in the NBA get picked by the team in the draft. This morning Yi was traded to New Jersey where I'm sure he will be more happier then in Milwaukie. New Jersey in near New York so Yi should be pleased with the extra market coverage. I wish him the best. I've always liked draft day. It's interesting to watch which team picks who to play for them. Players who think they are worth more then they are get reality checks and it is always interesting to see a player everyone says in a great pick at that spot fail in the NBA. It is really the most high pressure situation any of the non playing personal have all year. You make the wrong pick. People will remember you for it. This NBA summer will be interesting to see what the Rockets do. After another 1st round exit they have to move (trade) some players. Or risk the same fate. Here is the question. Who will play in the second round first? Yao or Yi? |
